Is it too late to wish you a happy new year? I guess not. I have not posted anything this year. This doesn’t mean there is nothing to say. Well, for me the year began with that feeling of “Yea…this is how it goes…” I have had very many special requests to work on daily for the last 2 weeks. At 47 special requesters and counting…you’d think this would be pure bliss. Truth be told, articles will not be required daily, so it is unrealistic to expect special requests daily ( unless you write in a very active and trendy niche like tech). Even in tech, Apple, Samsung, HTC, Lenovo are not releasing updates everyday or improving on their current smartphones, tablets, phablets and PCs everyday. Even if they did, they do not inform us everyday.
Back to reality. Whether you have special requests or not, you must always make a decision on the article you need to write from the main market. There are days when you look and look, refresh and refresh your pages, and finally give up, as there are no articles to write. This is when you need a change of strategy. For us here in East Africa, it is about becoming nocturnal- start working at 10 p.m. I kid you not. You will get a wider choice of articles and then you can sleep during the day.
Well, that’s all I have to say today. What other tips do you have?
